Stanislas Favre

The project, entitled “They live”, in reference to the John Carpenter's film, is an experimental tool designed to decipher the reactionary and oppressive ideas conveyed in certain online content. In concrete terms I programmed a Chrome extension in JavaScript that displays a convex lens on certain sites that I targeted for the particularly dystopian reality they embody. When visiting the site of the SVP, the far-right Swiss party, or that of the online shopping platform Amazon, the user is presented with a critical vision through this lens and can see the other side of the story.
